What Energy Force Ambassadors Do
The Energy Force Ambassadors receive Energy Efficiency training and resources to help educate others on ways to save money and energy.
Energy Force Ambassadors learn all about PECO’s entire portfolio of Energy Efficiency programs so they can then help their peers and the public understand the benefits of energy efficiency and conservation.
Once trained, Ambassadors attend community events (virtually or in person) alongside our outreach team, teaching people what they have learned through fun, collaborative, and energetic demonstrations.
Requirements:
Ambassadors must be at least 18 years of age.
Participating non-profit organizations must be located in and support the special needs community within the PECO service territory (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia, and York counties).
Each Ambassador is expected to attend 12 events per program year.
Organizations must schedule and provide transportation for the Energy Force Ambassador.
Participating nonprofit organizations receive a $5,000 contribution from PECO to provide the Ambassador with a stipend for his/her/their participation in the Energy Force program.
